Since yesterday, Yukie all the sudden thought "I wanted to east sushi roll with tuna!"
(When she was going to sleep, she chnted "Tuna, tuna"...)
So, we had sushi roll for today's dinner.
This is one recipe Yukie learned from her friend.
Not just tuna, we put cheese, lettuce, leaks, ham and eggs, too.
It looked pretty nice, so we gave some to our landlord.
(The blue dish appearing towards the front of the picture is the one we gave away.)
We went to buy mayonnaise for this tuna roll last night!
For some reason, our Japanese friends tell us that American
mayo is not delicious. So, we haven't bought it until now, but
we thought tuna can't be complete without mayo!
After eating, Yukie's comment was that American mayo is not as sour
as Japanese one, but it's not so bad.
We bought the cheapest one we could find then which had 946ml for less than $2.
Also, American mayo is not in tube container like Japanese style, and
is sold in bottles (usually plastic).
Tomorrow, we'll try mayo on baked potatoes and eat them!
昨日から、急にツナの入った海苔巻きが食べたい！
とずっと思っていました。（夜寝るときもツナツナと唱えてました･･･）
でさっそく本日のディナーは海苔巻きです。
日本にいる時、友人が作ってくれて覚えた一品です。
ツナだけでなく、チーズやレタスやねぎ、ハムやタマゴも入れました。
結構見た目がうまくいったので、
いつもお世話になってる大家さんにもおすそ分けしてみました。

そのツナのため、実は昨日の夜、マヨネーズを買ってきました！
どうも日本人の友人達は口をそろえて、アメリカのマヨは美味しくない。
というので、なんとなく買わずにいたのですが、
ツナにマヨなしではどうにもならん！と思ったわけです。
で、食べて見た感想ですが、
ちょっと酸味はやはり日本のものより少ないけど、
そんなに悪くないかも。というのが私の味覚の感想です。
一番安い946ml入りのボトル（２＄しなかった）だったんだけどね。
そうそう、アメリカのマヨは、日本の様にチューブタイプの容器でなく、
ボトル（プラスティックが多い）に入って売っています。
よし、明日はベイクドポテトにマヨをかけて食べみよう！
