We went to a clinic for the first time in the US.
(It's only 2 blocks from our apartment, and took us 5 minutes
to walk there.)
Now, we finally found out the gender of the baby!
It's a LIL BOY (a baby boy)!
Toshi is so happy. (It's his dream to play football (soccer) with kids.)
Yukie thought it would be a girl, so she said "Oh, is it really?"
Yukie says it feels somewhat strange to have a boy come out
from her belly. She hasn't quite felt it real.
But now, we can be relieved.
(Our friends with baby boys, we await your baby clothes!)
The doctor said the baby is growing very welly.
Yukie thought the baby should be fine, too.
We are told that in US, the hospital or clinic we usually go to are
different from the hospital mothers deliver the baby. We are actually
going to have our baby at a hospital one block further from the clinic
(It's still about 10 minutes walk from our apartment.)
The clinic we went today was in a large building where they had
Chilren Clinic and Maternity as well.
The building was very clean, and they had displays of many
paintings, and had a large fish tank at the entrance.
The doctors and staffs are the clinic are all nice people, and
they are all women.
So, today's picture is us pointing at a boy in a painting daisplay
in the clinic. Would we have a baby like this child?
アメリカに来て初めて、クリニックに行ってきました。
（アパートから歩いて２ブロック、徒歩５分のとこにあります）
そしてとうとう、お腹の中の赤ちゃんの性別が判明！
ＬＩＬ ＢＯＹ （男の子） でした～！！
敏君は大喜びです。（一緒にサッカーするのが夢だそうで）
私は、勝手に女の子かなぁと思っていたので、
あらそうなの？という感じかな。
自分のお腹の中から男の子が出てくるって何か不思議な感じがします。
まだいまいちピンとこないかも。
しかしこれで一先ず安心しました。
（男の子のいる皆さん、お下がりまってます！）
先生いわく、とても順調なようです。
まぁ、自分でも元気いっぱいだとは思っていたけどね。
アメリカの病院は、普段通うところと生むところは別なようで、
実際生むのはもう１ブロック先の大きな病院です。（それでも歩いて１０分かな）
今日行ったクリニックは、一つの大きな建物の中に、
小児科や私達の行った産婦人科などが入っていました。
とてもきれいな建物で、中には沢山絵が飾ってあり、
玄関にはお魚のいる大きな水槽がありました。
先生やスタッフもとてもいい人達で、みんな女性でした。
で、今日の写真は、クリニック内にあった絵の中の男の子を指差してみました。
生まれてくるのはこんな感じの子かな？
